It’s a while since any of us here at MicksGarage have been out on a race track and the urge to get back out there is strong! It’s a bit like a mild addiction I suppose, you get your fix, you’re on a high for a while, time passes, you start getting itchy feet, then you’ve gotta get out there again!
If you can’t afford to go racing, track days are the most accessible way of scratching that itch and we’ve written a couple of articles in the past about choosing a track day car on a budget. It’s a fantastic piece of video featuring some even more fantastic motor cars. Our personal favorite is the Broadley T76, a millimeter perfect replica of the iconic 1960’s Le Mans legend, the Lola T70. It’s an utterly brutal and equally beautiful racing car that you can now buy for about half a million quid and If I had half a million quid, i’d spend every single last penny of it on one of these!
