Crash Test Dummies… no not that annoying band from Canada with their mmm mmm song! The human imitation which is generally composed of aluminium or steel and a range of plastics that are tasked with testing the safety our vehicles in the event of a crash. Well these crash test dummies were the inspiration for the video below!
This is a short animation made by Vancouver Film School Student Malek Rizkallah as his final project in 3D Animation and Visual Effects. Malek aptly named his piece “Crush“, where he has animated a pair of crash test dummies in a VW Scirocco that spark to life moments before impact.
